They’re back in the same sidecar. Tim Reeves and Mark Wilkes are making their comeback as a British sidecar duo in the FIM Sidecar World Championship. The multiple world champion had won the 2019 world championship with his compatriot on the German Adolf RS sidecar. They plan to continue.
Team owner Jürgen Röder is thrilled about the reunion: “This is a truly happy day for us. The fact that it worked out is thanks to Tim’s energy and dedication, since Mark actually didn’t want to race anymore. However, Tim was able to motivate him to rejoin our team and compete in the 2023 season. Both will compete in the World Championship, but it looks like they’ll also tackle the races on the Isle of Man together.”
