The open-brand Twin Cup will start again in 2025 as part of the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) with cooperation partner Honda at its side.
The established Twin Cup is the first port of call for beginners, those returning to the sport, and those moving up who want to compete in professional, comparable, and affordable motorcycle racing with a special family spirit.
In recent years, the Twin Cup has become a springboard to the next higher classes, and twins are also gaining importance in international classes.
With this in mind, Honda is getting involved and entering the Twin Cup with a modified Hornet CB750.
The Yamaha MT-07, Kawasaki Z650, and Honda Hornet CB750 are eligible to participate.
All Honda riders can look forward to a bonus of €400.
The race will be run on slick and rain tires. The slicks provide a high level of grip and increased durability. A particularly positive feature of the rain tires is the uniform tire size for all brands, which ensures the best possible comparability in wet conditions. The tires are offered to our drivers at special rates, and tire service on site is of course included in the price.
The engine remains completely original on the Yamaha MT-07, while the Kawasaki Z650 is fitted with a set of tuning camshafts and a modified ECU. The maximum power output at the crankshaft must not exceed 78 hp on any of the vehicles.
Complete or technical packages are available for the Kawasaki Z650, Yamaha MT-07, and Honda.
Thrilling battles on the track and a friendly atmosphere in the paddock guarantee the unique spirit of the Twin Cup.
