Spectators are permitted at the IDM final in Hockenheim

Good news for all IDM fans: Spectators will be allowed at the IDM finale in Hockenheim from September 25 to 27. A limited number of visitors per day will be able to watch the decisions in Germany's top motorcycle road racing series live at the track.

Tickets will only be sold online in advance, and spectators will be assigned fixed seats in the grandstands. Parking will also be regulated according to seating arrangements. Masks must be worn in the grandstands until spectators take their seats. These measures are part of the racetrack's strict hygiene concept, which allows spectators to be admitted in limited numbers. All details, including information on admission prices, are available online at: www.hockenheimring.de.

This means that Jonas Folger's fans will also have the opportunity to see their idol live on his Yamaha before the end of the year. If everything goes according to plan, the World Championship wildcard rider from Barcelona will be able to celebrate his IDM championship title in Hockenheim. In all classes, the title decisions will not be made until next weekend.

"We are very happy that we can now welcome spectators, at least to the IDM final," says IDM series manager Normann Broy about the last-minute decision. "We would like to thank everyone who made this possible." For those who are unable to get a ticket, the free livestream will still be available. As with all IDM events this year, all championship races and selected supporting races will be broadcast live on idm.de/live.
