On September 22, 2026, the DMSB Appeals Court heard the appeal filed by Holzhauer Racing Promotion.
The proceedings centered on the procedures followed by Holzhauer Promotion in rebuilding a motorcycle after it was totaled during the EURO MOTO Superbike race in Oschersleben on August 2, 2026. The GERT56 by RS Speedbikes team had lodged a protest against this. The race commissioners determined that there was no evidence the Honda motorcycle used in the second race had been rebuilt in accordance with the rules. The Holzhauer Racing Promotion team filed an appeal against the sports commissioners’ decision. The DMSB Appeals Court has now rejected this appeal.
In addition, a decision was made in the Sportbike class. Kawasaki riders Sasha de Vits and Jules Bercot (both from ERC Team) were disqualified at Oschersleben following protests from two competing teams after the second race. According to the official ruling, the reason was the use of software that did not comply with the technical regulations. The team’s appeal was rejected as inadmissible.
