Temperatures continue to rise. For this reason, the mandatory starting procedure for the EURO MOTO class races at Most this weekend has been suspended. The quick-start procedure will be used instead.
Here's the shortened version: Instead of 15 minutes, the pit lane will open seven minutes before the start for 60 seconds. After the formation lap, the drivers will take their positions. The race will start immediately after the warm-up lap.
Rider representatives Toni Finsterbusch (Superbike), Marvin Siebdrath (Supersport), and Micky Winkler (Sportbike) have spoken out against further shortening the races in the EURO MOTO classes. In their assessment, the riders’ physical performance is assured despite the high temperatures.
