With the new EURO MOTO season about to begin, an exciting opportunity has arisen for ambitious racers: Team RT Motorsports, led by team manager Rob Vennegoor, still has one spot available for its upcoming debut season.
“We have the resources and the potential—so why not go for that final spot?” explains Vennegoor. The Dutchman knows what he’s talking about: Last season, he and Inigo Iglesias secured the championship title after a turbulent season full of highs, lows, and surprises.
However, Iglesias will not be competing in the upcoming season. Instead, Vennegoor is looking to bring in fresh international talent, adding reinforcements from Australia and the Netherlands to the team. The strategy is clear: go on the offensive.
“We want to use our experience and expertise to give someone the chance to break into racing in a professional environment,” Vennegoor continued. And he added with a wink: “Anyone who joins us won’t get a cushy spot in the pit—but a real chance to prove themselves. We don’t race just to participate. We race to be among the leaders.”
At the same time, the team manager makes it clear that entering the world of racing today comes with clear requirements: “Without a certain amount of personal capital to bring to the table, it’s simply not possible anymore. Motorsports has always been—and will always be—linked to investments, but these can pay off for the right drivers.” Accordingly, applicants should already have some budget available as well as racing experience.
Anyone who meets these requirements has the opportunity to secure a spot on a well-established, ambitious, experienced, and successful team and become part of the first EURO MOTO season.
