A new face at MCA Racing. The Honda team led by owner Stefan Schmidt from Altendiez is now complete. After Dirk Geiger decided to pursue other opportunities following his runner-up title in the Supersport class, the motorcycle dealer first presented Marvin Siebdrath as his successor. Now, 17-year-old Julius Frellsen from Denmark is joining as another new colleague for regular rider Julius Caesar Rörig.
For rookie Julius Frellsen, joining the EURO MOTO Supersport marks the start of Supersport whole new chapter in his racing career. He had already made his debut with MCA back in 2023, so they’re already familiar with each other. Frellsen competed for the German team in the 2023 Northern Talent Cup and finished third overall.
His comeback the following year also left a lasting impression, when he returned to the Cup as a guest rider at Assen in the Netherlands. Frellsen started from 16th place but went on to win both races. After several international appearances, he is now moving up to the Supersport.
"I'm really looking forward to this new stage on the CBR600RR," says the Dane, thanking MCA and Honda Germany for this opportunity. Stefan Schmidt is enthusiastic about the lineup and says: "Marvin Siebdrath has already proven that he is one of the most capable riders in Germany. He is fast, consistent, and determined. Julius Caesar Rörig knows the project in detail and is now one of the most experienced participants in the field. And Julius Frellsen showed early on that he has the talent and speed needed to succeed in our sport. We are offering him a strong foundation for his rise."
