Following the many questions surrounding the Triumph Germany Racing Team, there is now further confirmation that the team will continue. The motorsports brand ERC is joining the team.
Exactly one month ago, on June 19, 2025, the Lingen (Ems) Local Court ruled on the assets of Hertrampf Racing GmbH as part of insolvency proceedings initiated by Denis Hertrampf. The IDM Sportbike project featuring Oliver Svendsen and Anton Södergren was not affected by the insolvency filing. During the summer break, the Triumph Germany Racing Team is actually stronger than ever. It will now receive logistical and technical support from the ERC team.
The partnership is intended to further strengthen the team’s athletic performance and promote sustainable development in professional motorcycle racing. With ERC’s involvement, Triumph Germany Racing will be professionally positioned in key areas such as logistics, technology, and organizational structure. “The partnership with ERC gives us the opportunity to pursue our racing goals with even greater determination,” says Denis Hertrampf, team principal and owner of Triumph Germany Racing. “This support enables us to continue growing on a professional level and strategically position our team for the future.” Together, they aim to lay the foundation for long-term success—both nationally and internationally.
Danish rider Oliver Svendsen has led the Triumph Germany Racing Team into the summer break of the International German Motorcycle Championship as the points leader in the Sportbike class. The 21-year-old has already secured five victories. He holds a 40-point lead in the overall standings over second-place Petr Svoboda (Aprilia). His Triumph teammate, Anton Södergren from Sweden, is in twelfth place in the standings.
