In 2025, Öhlins—the world’s most renowned suspension manufacturer—will return to the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) supplier pool. This adds another highlight to the country’s premier motorcycle racing series while further strengthening the championship’s foundation.

Öhlins service vehicles can be seen at all world championships around the globe: In the 2025 season, they will also be present at every IDM event. The suspension manufacturer is the title sponsor for the event taking place September 5–9 at the Nürburgring.

“The fact that Öhlins is our partner demonstrates just how valuable the IDM is. Its appeal has grown year after year, and having an industry giant on our side is, of course, more than just a positive sign for us as well. All I can say is: Welcome aboard. We’re excited about this partnership, a sentiment that Chris Witter, General Manager of Öhlins Germany, has also confirmed.”

Looking ahead, this means that the IDM could, for example, use Öhlins’ FGR 250 fork series. The FGR 250 is a front fork designed exclusively for use on the racetrack. These gold-colored forks are available for many motorcycle brands.

Operating from its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, and supported by a network spanning more than 50 countries, Öhlins distributes its products worldwide. Its key markets include Japan, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, and France. Among the most prominent customers that adorn their motorcycles with Swedish gold are Yamaha, Ducati, Aprilia, Honda, Triumph, and BMW.
