Following the season finale of the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM), the schedule for the 2025 season has been finalized. Motor Presse Stuttgart, the series’ promoter and organizer, has announced seven events at six race tracks.
The season kicks off in May at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, followed by the second round at the Schleizer Dreieck. Unlike in recent years, the date for the race at the natural-terrain circuit has been moved up by two months. Three weeks later, the series heads to a neighboring country for the first time. The races in Most, Czech Republic, have been a regular fixture on the IDM calendar since the series’ return six years ago. In early July, the series returns to Oschersleben before the second half of the season begins at the TT Circuit in Assen. The “Cathedral of Speed,” which was designed specifically for motorcycles, has also hosted a World Championship round every year since 1949.
The Nürburgring also remains a fixture on the season calendar. More fans than ever before turned out to witness this year’s IDM spectacle. The next round is scheduled for early September. The grand season finale will then take place, as usual, at the Hockenheimring. Since the date of the 2025 EWC Bol d’Or finale has been postponed, the IDM finale has been pushed back by one week.
“We’ve pulled out all the stops to present the teams and riders with a varied schedule. Fans can also look forward to the events. There will be at least one IDM event every month from May through September,” says IDM Series Manager Normann Broy.
