Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Young drivers have until August 31 to apply online for the 2025 National Team. Those who make the cut will receive an exclusive training position in racing.
Motorsport Team Germany, which was restructured jointly by the DMSB and the ADAC Stiftung Sport in early 2021, is a unique, nonprofit youth development program that supports talented young athletes in ten disciplines—five in auto racing and five in motorcycle racing. Together, the national squads and the DMSB national teams form Motorsport Team Germany.
The young talents in Motorsport Team Germany receive comprehensive training that prepares them for the next steps in their careers. This includes fitness and mental training, as well as coaching in automotive engineering, to ensure that their collaboration with engineers and mechanics runs smoothly. Other key components include learning how to interact with the media, seeking out sponsors, and several training sessions on nutrition. The program is rounded out by counseling services for the parents of the younger talents.
We are looking for drivers between the ages of 12 and 22 who have already demonstrated their talent in two- or four-wheeled racing. Motorsport Team Germany currently includes 35 athletes from the disciplines of karting, formula racing, GT and touring car racing, LMP, rally, as well as motorcycle road racing, motocross, enduro, trial, and speedway.
Applications for motorcycle racers must be submitted by August 31, 2024, via the online talent registration process at the link below. If the requirements are met, candidates will proceed to a multi-stage selection process and a performance test at the State Sports School in Ostfildern-Ruit near Stuttgart. Which rider from the International German Championship (IDM) will make the cut?
