The 2023 FIM Sidecar World Championship has come to an end. The calendar featured 14 races, which were held in six countries: Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, and Austria, as well as the Netherlands and Portugal. There were six different winners. World champions Todd Ellis and Emmanuelle Clément won five races. Ben and Tom Birchall stood on the top step of the podium four times. Stephen Kershaw and Ryan Charlwood triumphed in both races at the Sidecar Festival in Oschersleben. Harry Payne and Kevin Rousseau took home the biggest trophy at the Red Bull Ring. Pekka Päivärinta and Luca Schmidt were victorious in the sprint race at the World Championship final in Estoril. The final race of the year became the highlight of the careers of brothers Sam and Tom Christie. It was their very first World Championship victory ever.
