IDM: The preliminary schedule for 2024 has been finalized

There are seven events scheduled for 2024

Traditions are worth preserving. Motor Presse Stuttgart, the promoter and organizer of the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM), has announced the tentative dates for next year’s season finale.

The 2024 calendar features seven rounds. The season opener in May will take place at the Sachsenring. It will thus begin, as usual, on the famous Grand Prix circuit in Germany. Two events will be held in June. First, the series heads to Oschersleben, and three weeks later to the neighboring Czech town of Most. As always in July, the season’s highlight takes place at the Schleizer Dreieck. The IDM is also the highlight of the racing year at the natural-surface track in Thuringia.

The second half of the season kicks off in August in Assen, Netherlands. This means that at least the second MotoGP circuit has been confirmed on the IDM calendar. Negotiations with circuit operators are still underway regarding the second event in August. The season finale will, as is tradition, take place at the Hockenheimring.

“By announcing the dates early, we want to give the teams, riders, and spectators the certainty they need to plan ahead,” says IDM Series Manager Normann Broy.
