The Czech team MJ Motosport is kicking off the new IDM season with a two-rider lineup. It is the first Triumph team in the IDM Supersport class, which is being contested under the Next Generation rules. Brothers Filip and Petr Feigl will be riding the two specially prepared Triumph Street Triple 765 RS bikes.
Eighteen-year-old Filip most recently competed for the same team in the Supersport 300 World Championship. He finished 16th at Most in the Czech Republic. Last season, however, the team also took the opportunity to showcase the Triumph at Assen, Most, and the Red Bull Ring, though at that time he was still a guest rider. The team is thrilled and grateful to the German importer for the opportunity to now earn championship points through its entry as a pool partner in the IDM. Please note: Filip Feigl will have start number “92,” while his brother Petr, who is three years older, will have “23” on his bike.
Jonáš Kocourek will be joining the lineup later as another rider, securing a wild card spot with MJ Motosport.
