Bryan Cohen is switching from blue to green. FÜSPORT-RT Motorsports by SKM–Kawasaki has signed the runner-up in this year’s Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Cup. The 20-year-old is now set to compete in his first season in the IDM Supersport .
Four wins and three additional podium finishes in ten races—that’s Bryan Cohen’s record in the Cup class. He also started three races from pole position. Without the crash in Schleiz, he might well have achieved more than just the runner-up title. In the end, he fell short of the Cup title by eleven points.
Cohen comes from a family of racers. His grandfather and uncle raced as a team for years. Now it’s up to the younger generation to carry on the tradition, and he’s really excited about it. He’ll be riding a Kawasaki Ninja 400. “I want to win and take the title. The word ‘impossible’ doesn’t exist for me,” says the rising star, adding, “I’ve signed with a top team, so there are no excuses.”
A schedule for winter testing is already in the works.
