It had long been an open secret, but now it’s official. Max Enderlein and Jan-Ole Jähnig will compete in the IDM Supersport 600 in 2021 as part of the M32 Racing Team.
Effective immediately, they are now in charge. Max Enderlein, the 2018 and 2019 IDM Supersport 600 champion, and Jan-Ole Jähnig, the 2020 IDM Superstock 600 runner-up, have founded their own team. Jähnig, on the other hand, made the leap to the Supersport 300 World Championship and, after its cancellation, continued to race in the IDM Superstock 600.
By founding their own team, the two friends realized a long-held dream. The time was ripe for a change. What remains, however, are the Yamaha YZF-R6—which both riders now use to compete for points in the IDM Supersport 600—and their long-standing sponsors and partners.

"It's going to be a fantastic and exciting season, because in my opinion, the championship features a very strong and high-caliber field. Things are unlikely to get boring at the top of the standings in 2021 either."
Jähnig believes he can learn a lot from the two-time champion. And the Thuringian, who turns 20 in two weeks, adds: “Another positive aspect of this situation is that Max and I spend a lot of time together off the track as well. For example, we often go to motocross training sessions with Toni Finsterbusch and Julian Puffe.”
