Motor Presse Stuttgart will continue to serve as the organizer and promoter of the International German Motorcycle Championship in 2020 and 2021. What had been widely anticipated since the IDM finale in Hockenheim has now been officially sealed in a contract with the German Motor Sport Federation (DMSB). The DMSB retains sporting authority.
“Our continued trusting partnership with the DMSB underscores the dedicated work we’ve done over the past few years,” says Dr. Andreas Geiger, Managing Director of Motor Presse Stuttgart. “The new contract allows us to continue successfully developing the series together with our partners, sponsors, and event organizers. This means that the teams and drivers can also count on a stable situation.”
The IDM is the top German series in motorcycle road racing. Competitors in the premier and support classes come from all over Europe, the Americas, Australia, and Asia. The MOTORRAD action team at Motor Presse Stuttgart is responsible for organizing the IDM.
