A spectacular crash in Most, Czech Republic, has brought Bobby “Bobster” Bos’s season in the IDM Superbike 1000 to a temporary halt.
While participating in a sprint race as part of a training session, HPC-Power Suzuki teammates Kevin Sieder and Bobby Bos were entering the first turn when they were struck by oncoming motorcycles, reports team manager Denis Hertrampf. After the pileup, Bobby Bos had to be taken to the hospital but was transported home to the Netherlands that same evening. He broke his left hand and severed tendons in his thigh.
According to the doctors' estimate, the recovery period is three months.
