The open-brand Twin Cup will be held primarily as part of the new European motorsport series, EURO MOTO, in 2026. WithHondaas a partner andSuzukiexpected to join once again, the established racing series continues on its successful path.

The Twin Cup is designed forbeginners, those returning to the sport, and ambitious up-and-comers who want to experience affordable motorcycle racing under professional conditions. A technically balanced set of rules and the uniquefamily atmospherein the paddock have defined the series for years.

Over the past few seasons, the Twin Cup has established itself asa stepping stone to higher racing classes. At the same time, twin-cylinder motorcycles continue to gain prominence in international motorsports. Against this backdrop, Honda remains committed to the Twin Cup and is once again entering themodified Honda Hornet CB750in the series.

Eligible models include theHonda Hornet CB750,Yamaha MT-07,Kawasaki Z650,Suzuki GSX-8S, andSuzuki SV650. Honda riders—and likely Suzuki riders as well—can look forward to abonus of 400 euros.

The race will be run onslick and rain tires, which offer a high level of grip combined with increased durability. Thestandardized size of the rain tiresfor all brands ensures a high degree of comparability in wet track conditions. The tires are offered to participants at special rates;on-site tire serviceis included in the price.

Technically, theYamaha MT-07remains stock. TheKawasaki Z650featurestuned camshaftsand a modifiedECU. All vehicles are limitedto amaximum engine output of 78 hp at the crankshaft.Complete and performance packagesare available separately.

The Twin Cup is all aboutthrilling battles on the track, fair competition, and a friendly atmosphere in the paddock—and thus embodies the series’ unique spirit.
