Track presentation

The special features of the track are presented by none other than Julian Puffe. With the onboard camera, you can take to the track in the following video. The only way to experience it more directly is to drive it yourself.

special features

The track is Germany's oldest natural race track, nestled in beautiful countryside. The Schleizer Dreieck is unlike any other track and offers pure nature. Most of the paddock is located on green fields. The race traffic runs on public roads, which are closed off for the respective events. The course layout has been changed several times to make it less challenging. Safety has been significantly improved thanks to gravel beds and run-off areas. The IDM is considered a highlight in the Schleizer Dreieck calendar.

Tip: Don't forget to try a Thüringer Roster, the ultimate bratwurst from the region.
