Magnus Kristoffersen is one of the new faces in the EURO MOTO sportbike class this season. The Danish rider will compete in his first full season in the series in 2026, having already made two guest appearances last year.

Given the experience from last year, the decision to commit to a full season wasn’t a difficult one. “After those two wildcard starts, we decided to take the next step.” The main factor for him was the high level of competition in the series. “The competition is incredibly strong and the races are very close. The atmosphere on race weekends also won me over.” To prepare for his first full season, Kristoffersen was already racing in Valencia before the season started to get back into the swing of things after the long winter break.

Kristoffersen began his racing career in the MiniGP series in Denmark. He then moved on to Supermoto before transitioning to circuit racing. He worked his way up step by step through the Supersport 600 class in Denmark and the Aprilia Cup in Sweden. This progression has made him the rider he is today: “I’m pretty calm, focused, and always positive,” says the Dane about himself.

Kristoffersen has set clear goals for his first full season. “I want to continue developing as a driver as much as possible and deliver strong results.” Over the course of the year, he plans to work his way up step by step and close the gap on the leading group. And what is he looking forward to off the track in the paddock? “I’m excited to meet new people, enjoy the atmosphere, and connect with the fans.”

With Magnus Kristoffersen, the EURO MOTO sportbike class is gaining another Danish rider. Alongside Ty Henriksen, Lucas Sørensen, and Oliver Svendsen, this means another rider from Denmark will be competing in 2026. And speaking of Oliver Svendsen: Not only is he friends with Kristoffersen and brought him into the IDM as a guest rider in 2025, but he’ll also be competing again this year—albeit in different colors.
