While the fields of riders in the Supersport and Superbike classes are filling up, the Sportbike category is also gaining momentum. Team ViVa Endurance has pushed ahead with its plans and presents Tobias Kitzbichler as a promising new addition.
Following its debut year and the clear decision to expand the project further for the 2026 season, the search for a second rider is now complete. Kitzbichler will compete alongside veteran Sven Seidler in the future. The 16-year-old Austrian, who is occasionally supported by racing legend Gustl Auinger, has attracted attention in recent years with strong performances in the Northern Talent Cup and is considered one of the up-and-coming talents in the junior ranks.
Sven Seidler remains a constant presence at his side. "Sven has been a constant in our team for years. With the experience we gained last year, we want to continue developing the EURO-MOTO project together," explains team boss Michael Rapp, who had already enjoyed many years of success with Seidler in the German Endurance Cup (DLC) before making the move to the IDM in 2025. The combination of Seidler's experience and Kitzbichler's development potential can now provide fresh momentum and stable results.
The first joint practice session on the racetrack won't be long in coming: in just a few days, the team will head to Spain for testing, where Seidler and Kitzbichler will appear together for the first time in the saddle of their Aprilia RS 660 motorcycles.
