As of yesterday, registration for the 2025 season is wide open. The Aprilia crew “ViVa by Peuker & Streeb” from Straubenhardt, Baden-Württemberg, was the first to jump in and submit their entry—just a few hours after the partnership between the IDM and the motorcycle brand in the new sportbike class was made public.

Riders Kristoffer König and Sven Seidler are seasoned cup and endurance racers, respectively, and are thoroughly familiar with the Aprilia RS660. Kristoffer König, at least, also has IDM experience. Two years ago, he had a run of bad luck in the IDM Supersport 300 class, but is now jumping back into the shark tank in the higher class. Now standing 180 centimeters tall, the 16-year-old from Maximiliansau finished as runner-up in the German Twin Trophy last year. On what? An Aprilia RS660, of course. In the IDM Sportbike class, König will race with start number #7.

Twelve years older and a seasoned veteran, Sven Seidler knows his motorcycles inside and out as a former team mechanic, and his passion for racing runs deep. Seidler is wherever the smell of gasoline lingers. He picks up right where he left off. Even if his motorcycle is badly damaged and he’d win points for the most crashes, Seidler still won’t give up. A true endurance racer. Biggest successes: Winner of the Reinoldus Endurance Cup, runner-up in the German Endurance Championship. Now it’s time for something new. With the motorcycle specialists Peuker & Streeb by his side, anything is possible. Seidler’s distinguishing mark: #5.
