The first day of the 2024 IDM season is now behind us—time to take a look at the day’s fastest riders.
In Superpole pre-practice, Patrick Hobelsberger set the day's fastest time in the Superbike class with a lap of 1:23.262, putting him just under a tenth of a second off the current IDM lap record.
In the IDM Supersport class, Andreas Kofler leads the standings at the end of the first day, just ahead of Triumph newcomer Luca de Vleeschauwer and IDM rookie Štepán Zuda.
The Supersport 300 class was dominated by Loris Veneman on the first day. The Kawasaki rider set the day’s fastest lap time of 1:32.280, completing a lap of the Sachsenring seven-tenths of a second faster than his closest rival, Ruben Bijman (KTM).
