The first day of the 2024 IDM season is behind us—time to take a look at the day's fastest riders.
In the Superpole pre-practice session, Patrick Hobelsberger set the day's fastest time in the Superbike class with a lap of 1:23.262, putting him just under a tenth of a second away from the current IDM lap record.
In the IDM Supersport , Andreas Kofler leads the standings at the end of the first day, just ahead of Triumph convert Luca de Vleeschauwer and IDM rookie Štepán Zuda.
Loris Veneman dominated the first day of the 300cc class at the “ Supersport .” The Kawasaki rider lapped the Sachsenring in a day’s best time of 1:32.280, finishing seven-tenths of a second faster than his closest rival, Ruben Bijman (KTM).
