The Freudenberg KTM-PALOGO Racing Team secured the manufacturers' title for KTM in the IDM Supersport class during last weekend's IDM round in Assen. Twenty-one-year-old Dirk Geiger sealed the victory for the Austrian brand ahead of schedule with another win and a second-place finish. KTM has 481 points in the standings, putting them 94 points ahead of Kawasaki. The gap is now insurmountable ahead of the grand finale in Hockenheim.
In the twelve races held so far in the IDM Supersport , KTM has claimed eight victories. The winners were Dirk Geiger, Dustin Schneider, Walid Khan, and Philipp Tonn. The Freudenberg team has secured a total of 20 podium finishes. Two races remain on the schedule for the junior class.
