The first race of the IDM Supersport 300 series in Most kept all spectators on the edge of their seats. Even before the start, it was clear that a fierce battle was in store between the two top teams, Kawasaki and KTM, as Team Füsport – RT Motorsports by SKM – Kawasaki had its riders occupy the entire front row of the grid for the first time.

The race got underway, and a fierce battle between KTM and Kawasaki erupted immediately. However, it quickly became clear that KTM was struggling with tire issues and couldn’t keep up with the powerful Kawasaki contingent for long.

Petr Svoboda, Inigo Iglesias (both Füsport – RT Motorsports by SKM – Kawasaki), and Dirk Geiger (Freudenberg KTM-Paligo Racing) broke away to the front of the pack and opened up a significant gap to the chasing group. A thrilling three-way battle developed between the two Kawasaki riders and KTM rider Dirk Geiger, with Geiger continuing to struggle with poor tire performance. Petr Svoboda appeared to benefit from the tussle between Geiger and Iglesias, but a minor slip cost him time, allowing Geiger and Iglesias to close the gap again.

But Petr Svoboda ultimately prevailed and celebrated a well-deserved victory in front of his home crowd, ahead of his teammate Inigo Iglesias and KTM rider Dirk Geiger. With this result, the German-Dutch FüSport team secured an impressive one-two finish.

There was also plenty of action in the chasing pack. The riders used every inch of the track to gain an advantage and take the best slipstream and momentum. In the end, Walid Khan (Freudenberg KTM-Paligo Racing) won the race. The Dutchman fought tooth and nail to prevail against World Championship riders Ruben Bijman (Team Apreco) and Troy Alberto (Füsport – RT Motorsports by SKM – Kawasaki). IDM rookie Dustin Schneider (Freudenberg KTM-Paligo Racing) finished seventh, followed by Ferre Fleerackers (B.art Racing) and Lennox Lehmann (Freudenberg KTM-Paligo Racing). Marvin Siebdrath (Yamaha bLU cRU IDM by Kiefer Racing) rounded out the top 10 in the race.
