Following RR Socia Racing Team NL’s debut season, the team will continue in 2023 with an intriguing lineup of riders. In the IDM Superbike class, the team will not feature two compatriots as in previous years, but has instead signed Björn Stuppi and Konstantin Pisarev—a German and a Ukrainian.
It has been quiet for a long time around former IDM Supersport rider Pisarev from Kyiv, but driven by personal motivation and due to the current situation in his home country, the 35-year-old intends to take advantage of the opportunity offered by RR Socia Racing to draw attention to the situation and showcase his skills in a field of international competitors.
Stuppi is a familiar face in the IDM Superbike series and is practically a fixture in Germany’s top racing class. After losing his spot on the Kiefer Racing Team—with which he was under contract last year but which has temporarily suspended its Superbike activities—he turned to a Dutch team, where he now rides the BMW M 1000 RR.
