In the Netherlands, Damen Motorcycle Apparel has long been a household name. Now, the brand from our neighboring country is taking the initiative in Germany as well and will become a partner of the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) in 2023.

To improve safety for all riders, airbags became mandatory in the Superbike, Supersport, and Supersport 300 classes in 2022. Only leather suits equipped with airbags or commercially available electronic airbag vests are permitted.
As a new IDM partner, Damen will be present at all race weekends starting in 2023 with a service truck where riders can get their gear fitted, have their airbag systems serviced, and have minor repairs done on the spot.
