The success story continues: Motor Presse Stuttgart, through its IDM Action Team, will continue to serve as the organizer and promoter of the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM). The contract with the German Motor Sport Federation (DMSB) has been extended by both parties. This means that the event specialists at the special-interest media company will continue to be responsible for Germany’s premier motorcycle road racing series.
“I’m delighted that we can continue our successful work and further develop the IDM,” says series manager Normann Broy of Motor Presse Stuttgart’s IDM Action Team. “With the 2020 and 2021 seasons, we’ve shown that we can take the championship to a higher level even under the most difficult conditions. Now we hope to start the upcoming season on a positive note and, above all, to once again welcome spectators to the stands at all events, just like at the Schleizer Dreieck.”
Bert Brandenburg, member of the Executive Board and Head of Events & Corporate Publishing at Motor Presse Stuttgart, adds: “The IDM is a fantastic racing series that will continue to develop professionally. It is a great honor for us to continue supporting the IDM as its promoter and organizer, and it serves as a prime example of our event expertise. All of this is only possible thanks to our loyal partners in the industry and at the racetracks, and above all, our thanks go to the national and international riders and teams involved, on whom we will continue to rely in the future.”
DMSB President Wolfgang Wagner-Sachs is also pleased about the continuation of the partnership: “The IDM Action Team has proven itself as our partner in organizing Germany’s premier motorcycle racing series. Even though all fans and those involved in the IDM naturally hope for even greater strides in the championship’s development, we are more than happy with the work of the event specialists from Stuttgart. They have shown great perseverance and extraordinary commitment to this championship, especially during the COVID-19 crisis. Extending the contracts was, of course, the logical result of this successful collaboration.”
