Stuttgart, April 16, 2021 – Just one day after the cancellation of the IDM season opener at the Lausitzring, the “ADAC Sachsenring Classic 2021” was canceled today. The prestigious event at the historic race track cannot take place due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As part of the iconic event, practice sessions and two races of the IDM Superbike 1000 were scheduled as highlights from May 7 to 9.
However, despite the ban on spectators, the authorities have not yet issued a definitive approval for the event. As a result, ADAC Sachsen e.V. no longer has the necessary lead time to organize the event and ensure that all planning is completed in full.
