A week ago, the RT Motorsports by SKM-Kawasaki team announced the signing of Australian rider Sharni Pinfold. Now, with Luca de Vleeschauwer and Marvin Siebdrath, her teammates for the IDM Supersport have been confirmed.
Marvin Siebdrath finished fifth overall in the junior class in 2020, while de Vleeschauwer took eighth place. Both secured a season victory on the Kawasaki Ninja 400; for Siebdrath, it was the first of his IDM career. De Vleeschauwer had the better individual results at the end of the season, but 17-year-old Siebdrath from Zwickau, Saxony, had been the more consistent rider.
The German-Dutch partnership will continue with the goal of winning the IDM Supersport title in 2021. Rob Vennegoor, team manager of RT Motorsports by SKM-Kawasaki, says: “The guys have done a fantastic job so far and learned a lot. They know how to win.”
