Who is Nils Endter? The answer is: the 27-year-old amateur rider is from Rhineland-Palatinate, comes from the municipality of Mürlenbach, which is located near the Nürburgring, has competed in endurance races (DLC) and won the "1000 Kilometers of Hockenheim" in 2019 as part of a trio with Sarah Heide and Jörg Teuchert. Endter has now joined Team Holzhauer Racing Promotion for a season in the IDM Superbike 1000.

Nils Endter knows his stuff, having trained with Stefan Nebel and Jörg Teuchert. But that's not enough. The IDM rookie wants to see what he can achieve in the IDM Superbike 1000. He has been in contact with HRP for some time. "I came on the scene somewhere between the new contract with Alex Polita and the commitment to Julian Puffe," he says. Endter brings with him a mechanic and expert for whom the IDM is not new territory. His name is Achim Weber. He was previously responsible for the technical support of Jörg Teuchert's equipment. Weber is also preparing the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R, but development remains in the hands of team boss Jens Holzhauer.  Endter's Triple-R is the same model as those ridden by his teammates Polita and Puffe.

Not afraid of the ice-cold leap into the premier class of Germany's top motorcycle road racing championship? "Why be afraid? I'm excited about the first international races with guys who really know their stuff," says Endter, eager for the season to start, adding: "It's hard to say where I might rank myself. I don't have any comparison times because I've rarely ridden the IDM connection at the Nürburgring. But I assume that I'll qualify."
The junior boss of Endter SinterTechnics GmbH & Co. KG actually wanted to travel to Spain to prepare for the season, but the plan was canceled due to restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.
