In the IDM Superbike 1000 class, Honda is represented by Alessandro “Alex” Polita of the Honda Holzhauer Racing Promotion Team (HRP). Even off the racetrack, the brand offers attractive deals.
While the IDM Superbike 1000 will be a highlight of the Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring on the third weekend in July, the Honda test ride truck will be parked between the Mercedes Grandstand and the Ring Casino. Models from the Neo Sports Café line, such as the CB1000R and CB650R, will roll out of the trailer. The Gold Wing and, of course, the CBR1000RR Fireblade will also be on hand. The new CB650R will be there as well. For enduro fans, Honda is bringing the NC750X and Africa Twin. Test rides are available not only to visitors with Truck GP tickets but also to anyone interested who spots the truck as it passes by. If you aren’t wearing motorcycle gear, help is available. Rental gear is available in various sizes.
Test rides will also be held during the IDM weekends in Schleiz and at the Hockenheimring. The season finale at the Motodrom in Baden is traditionally one of the highlights of the season. Anyone wishing to secure a Honda VIP ticket for the final event from September 27 to 29, 2019, should act quickly.
For €59.00, you get: admission including grandstand seating and paddock access, parking, access to the exclusive Honda VIP area on the pit roof on Saturday and Sunday, meals on Saturday and Sunday (breakfast, lunch, coffee, and cake), an autograph session with various Honda riders, a raffle, and a gift.
How do you get tickets? It’s easy: just go to www.honda.de → Motorcycles → Honda World → IDM VIP Event.
