The year 2018 is drawing to a close, and we’re heading full speed toward 2019. That means the registration forms for all IDM classes are now online. So sign up now to secure your spot and your preferred starting number. The International German Motorcycle Championship is one of the strongest and most popular series in all of Europe. Riders come from all over the world. The IDM brings together the cream of the crop. The high level of competition speaks for itself.
In the Superbike 1000, Supersport 600, Superstock 600, and Supersport 300 classes, prize money is awarded to the top three finishers in each race, provided the rider is permanently registered in the IDM.
All relevant information and documents for registration in the IDM Superbike 1000, IDM Supersport 600, IDM Supersport 300, DMSB Superstock 600 Cup, and IDM Sidecar classes are available for download at www.idm.de .
To register, you must have a valid international license from the DMSB ( Deutscher Motor Sport Bund e.V.) or an international license issued by your home federation, as well as a foreign racing permit or a national license issued by your home federation for performance class “A” or “B,” along with a “European racing permit.”
Teams that enter multiple riders in the IDM receive a discount on the entry fee. And speaking of start numbers: Starting with fourth place in the 2018 overall standings, participants in each class are free to choose their own numbers. However, riders from last season have priority to retain their old numbers until March 1, 2019. What about numbers 1, 2, and 3? They are reserved exclusively for the overall winner, runner-up, and third-place finisher from the previous year. If any of them wish to choose a different number, their original number—based on their finish—remains available.
Once the license application has been submitted and the registration form has been completed in full, the original copy should be sent to:
