The ViVa by Peuker & Streeb team has made its decision: The team will once again compete in the Sportbike class of the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) next year—and to that end, the team is looking for new riders to strengthen the 2026 project.

The team already has a long history together. For many years, the mechanics and riders competed successfully in the German Endurance Cup (DLC) before making the move to the IDM in 2025. “The sportbike project appealed to us, and we wanted to take on new challenges,” explains team manager Michael Rapp. With regular rider Sven Seidler on board from the start, the team had a solid foundation, and Kristoffer König joined the team for their debut season.

The transition to the IDM proved to be a real test of endurance. “We started from scratch and had to figure everything out on our own this year—from the regulations to the bike’s mechanics,” explains Rapp. The focus was on the Aprilia RS 660, which the team got to know step by step. “Not only was the motorcycle new to us, but so were some of the tracks,” adds Seidler, who not only rides but also works on the bike himself. “The IDM is in a different league than the DLC. We had to feel our way through it on every level.”

Even though they didn’t achieve top results in their debut year, the team is satisfied. “The season was great, and we learned a tremendous amount,” said Seidler. For team manager Rapp, one thing is clear: “We definitely want to continue.” To that end, ViVa by Peuker & Streeb is now looking to add new members for the upcoming season and “is open to discussions,” Rapp emphasized.

Anyone who wants to meet the team in person will have the chance to do so at the IDM finale in Hockenheim. Preparations for 2026 will begin immediately after the season ends—with a clear mission: to take the next step in the sportbike class.
