Patrick “Pax” Hobelsberger dominated the race from the front, winning with a time of 7.147 seconds ahead of Melvin van der Voort (Team SWPN) and Twan Smits (Team Apreco), but as a guest driver, he did not earn any points. The points were instead awarded to the drivers behind him in order.

Max Enderlein (M32 Racing) had held second place until the sixth lap, before Twan Smits and Andreas Kofler moved up to the front. The Austrian had pulled off one of his famous lightning-fast starts; the rest is still a matter of practice. Melvin van der Voort overtook Jan-Ole Jähnig (M32 Racing), and the action unfolded in rapid succession. Van der Voort, who had started from fifth position, eventually fought his way up to second place behind the runaway “Pax.”

The real battle took place between sixth and seventh place: Enderlein versus Luca de Vleeschauwer (Kawasaki Weber-Motos Racing). Or, to put it another way: Yamaha versus Kawasaki. Only the Belgian can still stand in the Saxon’s way to the title. On the tenth lap, he made a damn daring attempt to pass. The maneuver didn’t work out, but fortunately, the attempt ended well.

There were a few more position changes between Enderlein and de Vleeschauwer, but in the end, Enderlein came out on top. He could only manage sixth place, but that was still one spot better than de Vleeschauwer. Enderlein chose to ride cautiously rather than risk crashing the Yamaha—which had podium potential—and jeopardizing his title hopes.

The injured Thomas Gradinger provided commentary on the live stream of the IDM Supersport class, while Lukas Trautmann (Eder Racing) rode the Gradinger Yamaha across the finish line in eleventh place.
