Max Enderlein doesn't miss a beat. The Saxon from Hohenstein-Ernstthal also won the second race of the IDM Supersport 600 at Oschersleben. After what felt like 50 meters, the Yamaha rider (Freudenberg WorldSSP Academy) already had the victory in the bag. He passed pole-sitter Gabriel Noderer (Kawasaki Weber Motos Racing) seemingly effortlessly from second on the grid.

Tom Toparis immediately joined the leaders, pushed Noderer out of second place, and then engaged in a battle with Enderlein, which was cut short in the eleventh lap when the red flag was waved. Three riders who were battling for fifth place at that point had crashed: Gabriel Noderer, Martin Vugrinec (Unior Racing Team), and Daniel Rubin (Rubin Racing Team).

The race was not restarted. Crossing the finish line in Lap 10 was counted as the result for the IDM Supersport 600. Defending champion Enderlein received the largest trophy as the winner; Tom Toparis was placed second, and Sander Kroeze (MGM Racing Performance) was placed third.

Enderlein was overcome with emotion during the podium ceremony. He is friends with Dennis Lippert, who was seriously injured in yesterday’s IDM race at Supersport 600. Lippert is being treated at Magdeburg University Hospital. Out of respect for the rider, there was no champagne spray this time.

The victory in the Superstock 600 class—which races in the same field with Cup status but is scored separately—went once again to Yamaha rider Stefan Ströhlein, ahead of his teammate Jan Schmidt. Paul Fröde (Team ADAC Sachsen e.V.) finished third on the only Honda in the field.
