Der Startschuss für die Premierensaison der EURO MOTO ist gefallen: Ab sofort können sich Teams und Fahrer unter Participant information – EURO MOTO für die Klassen Superbike, Sportbike und Supersport registrieren.
Mit der neuen Marke EURO MOTO entwickelt die Motor Presse Stuttgart (MPS) die erfolgreiche Internationale Deutsche Motorradmeisterschaft (IDM) konsequent weiter, um dem europäischen Rundstreckenrennsport eine noch attraktivere Plattform auf internationalem Top-Level zu bieten.
Mit der Eröffnung des Anmeldeportals präzisiert die MPS die Rahmenbedingungen für die bevorstehende Saison. Aufgrund lizenzrechtlicher Beschränkungen auf europäischer Ebene wird die Motor Presse Stuttgart in der Saison 2026 für die Klassen Superbike, Sportbike und Supersport kein offizielles Europameisterschafts-Prädikat verleihen. Der prestigeträchtige Titel, um den die Piloten im Rahmen der EURO MOTO kämpfen, lautet unverändert „Internationaler Deutscher Motorradmeister“.
Die Motor Presse bedauert nach monatelangen Vorbereitungen diese formale Beschränkung. Ungeachtet dessen bleibt die MPS ihrem Ziel verpflichtet, mit der EURO MOTO für Teams, Fahrer, Sponsoren und Fans neue Maßstäbe als attraktivste Motorrad-Rennserie Europas zu setzen.
Das erste Rennwochenende rückt bereits in greifbare Nähe. In zwei Monaten, vom 08. bis 10. Mai 2026, startet die EURO MOTO auf dem Sachsenring in die Saison. Der Kalender umfasst insgesamt sieben Stationen auf traditionsreichen Kursen wie Assen, Most, Oschersleben, dem Nürburgring und dem Hockenheimring sowie der neu hinzugekommenen WM-Strecke in Brünn.

Registration for the inaugural season now open. Stuttgart, 9 March 2026. The starting signal for the inaugural season of EURO MOTO has been given: teams and riders can now register for the Superbike, Sportbike and Supersport classes under Participant information – EURO MOTO.
With the new EURO MOTO brand, Motor Presse Stuttgart (MPS) is consistently developing the successful International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) in order to offer European circuit racing an even more attractive platform at the top international level.
With the opening of the registration portal, MPS has clarified the framework conditions for the upcoming season. Due to licensing restrictions at European level, Motor Presse Stuttgart will not award an official European Championship title for the Superbike, Sportbike and Supersport classes in the 2026 season. The prestigious title that riders compete for in the EURO MOTO remains unchanged: ‘International German Motorcycle Champion’.
After months of preparation, Motor Presse regrets this formal restriction. Regardless of this, MPS remains committed to its goal of setting new standards with EURO MOTO as the most attractive motorcycle racing series in Europe for teams, riders, sponsors and fans.
The first race weekend is already just around the corner. In two months, from 8 to 10 May 2026, EURO MOTO will kick off the season at the Sachsenring. The calendar comprises a total of seven stops at traditional circuits such as Assen, Most, Oschersleben, the Nürburgring and the Hockenheimring, as well as the newly added World Championship circuit in Brno.
